I use Blaise version 4.8 for my computer assisted surveys; however it usually fails when I am in the field and I get an error like the one shown in the image. Can someone please assist? I am sure I Â am doing everything correctly.

I am having problem with Blaise

Hi,
I don't know what kind of error you have encountered in your .NET application but it sound to me like you are loading some data which the Blaise datamodel is having trouble with. For example, you may have produced an imputation error. Your application is not delivering the Blaise error but just complaining about a 'catastrophe'.
My suggestion is that you first load the data without the CHECKRULES. Then take the Blaise file off-line to examine it and see if you can discover the problem (with the data or the datamodel). If the file is large then use Manipula first to run CHECKRULES over each record. Depending on the complexity of the data you may need the settings for CHECKRULESUNCHANGED or DYNAMICROUTING as well. After you have applied the checkrules you can use the Data Viewer (or Data Centre) to locate dirty records and examine each one of them in DEP to see why they are still dirty. When you are in DEP change the Data Entry Mode to Data Editing before using the Navigate / Show all errors. Hopefully you will find the data problem and can work out how to fix it.
I hope this helps.
