I am having trouble sending fax with multiple pages

My modem is PCIe Soft Data Fax Soft Ring Modem with Smart CP. It was working fine until recently.

Today I had trouble sending a fax of four pages.

It will start on page 2 then it will hang up on page 3 and gives an error message:

"fax cannot be sent because of an unexpected error."

I must have tried about a dozen times. I went into the Control panel and queried the modem and it seems fine.

Yesterday I ran "deep care" of Advanced System Care 4, maybe could it have messed things up?

Anyway, I would appreciate any help in fixing it and also testing once it is fixed.

Try running your antivirus for any possible viruses. Second uninstall and install the drivers of your fax again.

It is possible that there is a problem in the recipient. Try to use the other fax machine to check if it has the same error. You may also try a Windows system restore to go back to your previous condition where it was still working properly.
