I am not able to install System Tools Software

Hi all,

I am using windows XP home computer. I have been given with system tools software to protect and save my system.

But I am not able to install it. I am getting some application error.

Kindly help me in setting up the software.

I am not able to install System Tools Software

Hello Jedei,

The error you attached with your question comes usually when your try to uninstall any program from Add / Remove panel. This error appears because of previous registry files present in your system. Removing the files will solve your problem.

To perform this action please follow the steps:

1- Restart your computer.

2- When it restarts, press F8 to get into the menu.

3- Here choose "safe mode with networking"

4- Go to Run -> type regedit -> press Enter

5- Locate the registry files associated with your system tool software and delete them.

This will stop the error message you mentioned.
