I am unable to create a new document

Hi Experts,

There is a serious problem with my InDesign CS5. Unfortunately I am unable to create a new document on it. But whenever I open old document with InDesign CS5 it works well. Please help me to solve this problem.

InDesign quit unexpectedly.

Click reopen to open the application again. This report will be sent to Apple automatically.

It might be that your software is outdated. Have you tried updating it? If not then download the update 7.0.4

If that doesn't work then try contacting the Customer Support. They might provide you with troubleshooting tips to solve the problem.

Hi Suzanne Lerson,

Updating your software to the latest version is always a good way to get rid of such problems that are mainly caused by the presence of bug in software database. Additionally, you can try the following steps also:

-Try limiting or completely remove the auto activation plugin.

-remove The SING.indesign plugin. This step has solved most of the problems like yours.
