In Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1, I cannot drag and drop files from one folder to another folder. Turning off User control Account, I replaced another mouse, but the problem stays as same. Advice on how I can correct this problem?

First of all, try to reboot your system. If that is a wireless mouse you then should move a little nearer the receiver, try also installing the appropriate driver for the mouse. Another way to solved this is by right clicking the start menu and choosing properties. From this a window will appear, an options for customizing the start menu. An advanced start menu options will be visible and you should check the “enable context menus and dragging and dropping”. Also another options is using the system restore point and running windows update. Better to install the small update first, and then go for the big ones.
