I cannot install any programs on my computer

I tried installing adobe but when it reached 99% it got terminated.

I also tried installing Google earth update but it showed the same error message:  

This installation package could not be opened. Verify
that the package exists and that you can access it. or
contact the application vendor to verify that this is a
vafcd Windows Installer package.

Need your help to solve this.

I cannot install any programs on my computer

Getting error messages when installing applications on your computer can actually happen due to a lot of reasons, and because of these, we need to know what Operating System you are using aside from the programs that you are trying to add to your system.  Sometimes, these problems occur if the installer itself have issues affecting the process, the installation was not completed successfully and may need to be uninstall totally then reinstalled. In your case, since we have no idea what OS you have, we will assume that you are using a Windows version.
