I cannot make default web page show up in IE8

Hello

I am getting a problem to show the website on the desktop.

On the desktop, my company wants to display the company homepage by default.

It was running with IE6, my company then converted all IE6 to IE8 and after that it hasn’t worked anymore.

Need your help.

I cannot make default web page show up in IE8

Displaying homepage does not depend on Version and internet browsers. Every internet browser including IE have their default homepage. Your problem is simple.

It is up to you whether you would like show home page or not.And again it is fully controlled by you which page you want to show on your home page.

By the by,launch your IE and click on tools located above and on the right on the browser. Then click on internet option located below.

Then click on general located above the window and on the left. Then a new field will appear.

Please type your company's web site address on the URL box. Then click on Use Current located below the box.

I think it is ok.

You can do the same on other browsers too.

I am confused if you want to show your company’s website on your desktop or on your web browser. If you want to make your company’s website the default home page of Microsoft Internet Explorer, it’s very easy. You can even do it without literally launching the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser. Click “Start,” “Control Panel,” “Network and Internet Connections,” and then “Internet Options.”

In “Internet Properties” dialog, in “General” tab, under “Home page” section, enter the link or the URL of your company’s website. When you are finished, click “OK”.

After this, launch Microsoft Internet Explorer and you should see your company’s website automatically opens. Unfortunately, because of compatibility since I am only using Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, the TechyV website won’t turn up. If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser, you should upgrade to the latest version supported by your operating system to avoid compatibility problems.
