I cannot use Google talk

I can not use google talk on my computer. It repeatedly shows that my password is incorrect. How can I use gtalk now?

I cannot use Google talk

Firstly, reconfirm that the password you have entered is correct. Cross check your CAPS key as well.Try forgot password option which will help you retrieve your password if you are not very sure of the password entered.If this is still an issue, I suggest you to uninstall Gtalk.

To uninstall Google Talk

1. Click  'Start' menu and goto settings
2. Select Control Panel
3. Open Add or Remove Programs
4. Select 'Google Talk' in the list of programs currently installed on your computer.
5. Click 'Remove.'

Now install it all over again.

Hello Sabelle,

To be able to use Google Talk on your computer, you will need to do the following:

• Start Google Talk. You can always find an icon of it in the taskbar, so just click on it.
• Once it is open, you will need to type in the username or email address to any Gmail account that you have as well as the password.
• If you press Enter or OK on your keyboard, you should be logged on to Google Talk after that.

Otherwise you can just open your Gmail account and then you will see the Chat option somewhere in the left of the window. You can chat from there.
