Dear All,
I'm using Windows 7 Home premium and am trying to set up a local network share on. I’ve tried to map the share drive as a network drive but I failed to do it. Please help me.

I can’t create Network using Remote Linux Server?
Dear Mizan,
Could you please set up the SAMBA password file and be sure you aren't blocking remote stuff. Thanks.

Ok, then try with this. First save old samba configuration; then create a new file. This file will create a share tmp. Restart the samba service on your computer, now check share is available on its own computer. Now check the share whether it is accessible. What I mentioned is about to configure your share networking. I hope this may help you. Cheers.

Thanks, now it works. As per your instruction I've configured again and also I've mapped again the share drive as a network drive and now it's accessible. Thanks a lot for your instruction and information. Take care.

Hi Mizan,
I've read your message and I finally got a solution for you. What I'm thinking is, could you please check your Firewall configuration? Sometimes it happens that, if your Firewall is not configured properly, you can't create a network to use remote Linux server. Thanks.
