Hello,
3 days ago I uninstalled my Realtek Audio Driver and I can`t install it again. IT shows an error: 0x000003E3
When I go to device manager and click update driver it shows an error that "The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit on an application request."
Is there any way to install it correctly?
Please tell me.
Right now.
My OS is – Windows XP SP2
The motherboard is – ASUS P5G41T-M LX3.

I also install the latest version from the manufacturer's website. But after copying files it shows the same "The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit on an application request."
What does it mean and how can I fix it?
Please reply.
Thanks in advance.

You can try this solution I think it's working
Disable audio controller in normal Windows mode > Reboot in safe mode > Go to Device Manager > Uninstall > Install now Realtek driver and reboot in safe mode again > Go to Device Manager and see the driver's version at this time you should have the updated driver > Reboot normally and enjoy. If already there Realtek HD Sound Driver,
Open- My Computer-Properties-Hardware-Device Manger-sound, video, games control-audio device right click -update driver-no not this time-next-install list of specific (Advanced)-don't searches-Next-Hard Disk- Browse-My Computer-C drive- Realtek-Audio-HDA file is there Open-Ok- Next-Finish-System Restart.Â

Error 0x000003e3 are due to a missing system files on your computer which you accidentally removed when you uninstall Realtek. Try the following workarounds below:
1. Update your Windows to replace the missing system files. Just click Start and then type Update on the search box. If there are available updates, click Install.
2. Update your Realtek driver by going to your manufacturer's website. Go to ASUSTek website to download and install the update.
3. Run a Disk Cleanup.
4. Perform a System Restore.
