Hello everyone,
I've installed Parallel Desktop on my MacBook to use Windows parallels but after some days, I recognized that my MacBook's performance became slow. I don't want to use it anymore. I installed the parallel desktop CD and the window appears with 'Uninstall Parallels Desktop' option. I've followed all the steps, but still can't remove it. I need to uninstall it. Please help me to do it.
Regards,

I can’t remove Parallel desktop from my Macbook.
Hi Rashed,
Installing Parallel desktop software in Mac, makes the system slow. I have used it and then I removed it from my Mac. So, you have already tried the steps to uninstall the software. Could you please try with me again. Let's get started to uninstall the parallel desktop from your MacBook. It's really easy.
Insert your Parallel Desktop CD or DVD, a window will appear with the Uninstall Parallels Desktop. If Parallels Desktop was previously downloaded from the parallel's website as a .dmg package, double click it.  You'll see the same window Uninstall Parallels Desktop pop up.
Now just run the Uninstaller application and do the steps. After that you have to go to the Terminal. To go to the Terminal, First select the Finder; then Applications ; then Utilities ; then Terminal. You have to copy and paste the commands one by one in the Terminal. It's very important to copy and paste the command carefully because there would be a possibility  of  corrupting  your Mac.y
After pasting the second command, you'll be asked for your Mac password. Enter it. Doing all the procedures successfully you'll see a result, ''No such file or dir''. It's meant your Parallels desktop has been removed. Get back to me whether you can do it or not. Thanks.

I can’t remove Parallel desktop from my Macbook.
Dear Sumya,
Thanks, I pasted the commands very carefully but after pasting the commands, when I press Enter as you mentioned in your solution, it asked for Mac password. Â I was entering it but It was invisible; I mean I can't see any symbol. Is there any problem with my OS or another problem. Regards.

Rashed,
Actually, You can't see it when typing. You just enter your password and press Enter, from your laptop keyboard. After entering you'll see a command result "No such file or dir". It means your parallels are removed now, you can use only Mac and get back your Laptop to perform better again. Cheers.

I can’t remove Parallel desktop from my Macbook.
Hello Rashed,
To remove Parallels Desktop from your Mac is very easy. You just open your Virtual Machine or appropriate virtual workstation in your Mac; then choose the file menu in the parallels and select remove. This also depends on parallels desktop version.
Or, you can simply download App cleaner from the website, which is totally free and install it in your MacBook. After installing it launch the software and select the parallels from your Laptop. Then just drag and drop it in the software. Your Parallels will be removed.
Hope the solution will help you to remove your parallels from your Mac. Thanks.

I can’t remove Parallel desktop from my Macbook.
How to remove parallel desktop from my MacBook::
1. To find the Uninstaller application:
a) If you have Parallels Desktop for Mac installation, insert it into the CD/DVD of your Mac. The window with "Uninstall Parallels Desktop" option will appear.
b) If Parallels Desktop was previously downloaded from the Parallels website as a .dmg package, double click this package. The same window with "Uninstall Parallels Desktop" option will pop up.
2. Run the Uninstaller application and follow the prompts on the screen.
3. After that, please open Finder -> Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal and copy/paste the following commands one-by-one there (hit Return after each of them).
IMPORTANT! Check that you insert commands accurately, otherwise Mac OS might be corrupted:
cd /Library/StartupItems/
sudo rm -rf Parallels
cd /Applications
sudo rm -rf Parallels
cd /System/Library/Extensions/
sudo rm -rf vmmain.kext
sudo rm -rf hypervisor.kext
sudo rm -rf Pvsvnic.kext
sudo rm -rf ConnectUSB.kext
sudo rm -rf Pvsnet.kext
After pasting the second command and hitting Return you will be asked about your Mac password. Please, enter it (note, you won't see it when typing). It is normal, if commands will result in "No such file or dir" output – it means that the uninstaller has already removed the files listed.
4. Restart your Mac computer.
5. Eject Parallels Desktop installation CD if you ran the uninstall process from the CD.
