I encountered an error while trying to install Oracle Database Software

I have recently upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot and I tried installing Oracle Database Software and encountered the error below. Please help me fix this.

Hello Tomson,

Here are some tips to solve this problem,

Try to log in as an admin.

Make sure System supports software and you have all supportive files downloaded on the system.

Restart machine before installing.

Some files might be corrupted or missing from the software package.

Try to obtain another fresh software package.

Make all CDs available to install software.

If in networking, check network is working fine.

Try the official site of Oracle for the help and better understanding.
