I Face A 0x800703fa Error Message

0x800703fa error means illegal operation attempted on a registry key that has been marked for deletion. The error occurs when users try to open systems reports in the controller or when using Java-related functionality.

The steps to resolve this problem are as follows:

• Don’t log on to the server for interactive sessions by using a service account.
• Disable the Windows User Profile Service features:

Step 1: Open the Group Policy editor on the affected server.
Step 2: Open the UserProfile folder on the shown path: Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> UserProfiles.
Step 3: Locate the Do not forcefully unload the user registry at user logoff setting and make it enabled.
