I need help to fix the printer error on my Windows 10 PC – a problem prevented the document from being scanned. Restarting the printer did not work.

I Get An Error That Says – A Problem Prevented The Document From Being Scanned

One of the following methods will help you to fix the error – a problem prevented the document from being scanned.

Method 1

a. Open PC Settings.
b. Open Devices Settings.
c. Click on Printers & scanners.

d. Remove the device that has an issue.
e. Add a printer or scanner.
f. The device will be detected.
g. Click on Add device.
h. Try to do your work now.

Method 2

a. Open the Windows Store.
b. Search for Windows scan app.

c. Download the app.
d. Launch the app to solve your problem.

Method 3

a. Press Windows + R on your device.
b. Type services.msc and press enter.
c. Double-click on the WIA service.

d. Change the startup type to automatic.
e. Start the service if not running.

f. Restart your PC.
g. You will not face any error.
