I get a memory error

While trying to paste art into PS CS4 vanishing point grid, I get a memory error:

"Photoshop.exe application Error The instruction at 0x7755886b referenced memory at 0xffffffff.

The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program"
Virtual RAM/Cache, HD space and RAM, I have plenty of in PS preferences.

I request any suggestion to solve this problem.

I get a memory error

Hi Noel Leal,

 

There are few steps to check if this problem is caused by a bug or a hardware malfunction. So, I would like you to do few things regarding your inquiry.

 

First, download this software called "memory tester". You can download here. I want you to install and run the program and wait for the result. Always remember that even with the slightest error with the RAM will cause extreme trouble.

 

If there are no errors found that means that the RAM is working perfectly.

 

Second, Reinstallation of PS CS4. Don't forget to restart after installing the program. 

 

I would like to know the model of the PC or laptop and the Operating system as well.
