Hello expert, I brought Nokia N9 with latest updates. I got an error on my mobile. When I play some media files, it doesn’t work and also in the internet. I asked in the shop and they told me to install the media server. So now I want to download media server nokia n9. Please give me the related site to download them. Thank you.

Hi Mark, here is the link where you can download the media server for Nokia N9:  http://jensge.org/helium-a-m-dmc-for-your-n9/.  When you browse the site you will be informed about Helium – a so-called UPnP A/V ControlPoint (or as DLNA puts it, a M-DMC)  that allows you to browse UPnP/DLNA media servers from your Nokia N9.   It also shows or play its contents as well as offering a feature of basic playback controls.

The current version is 0.5.  You can avail it on the site mentioned above or at apps.formeego.org.

Hello Mark,

Nokia N9 was announced on June 21, 2011 at the Nokia Connection Event in Singapore. Nokia N9 (codename ‘Lankku’, Finnish for “a flat plank of wood”) is a Smartphone made by Nokia running on the Linux –based MeeGo “Harmattan” mobile operating system. If you want media server software for Nokia N9 then try Universal Media Server 2.2.4. Universal Media Server 2.2.4 at http://universal-media-server.en.lo4d.com/ is available to all software users. It has many features and you can download it for free.
