Hi,
I used the Make MKV on my Asus BC-12B1ST to rip a BD movie for my first time as instructed in the build guide.
I then attempted to do so with SD DVDs as well, but I got an error prompt as it read the SD DVDs.
I then attempted to read several other DVDs but now I kept receiving the following error message
My DVDs are all set to be located in Region 1 at Device Manager. So why am I getting this error message?
I don’t believe it’s a drive firmware issue since it ripped the BD as MKV without a hitch.
I’d appreciate anything that could explain this.
Thank you.

Hello Adams,
From the error message you have posted below, it seems like the disc you are trying to copy from is protected against copying, and therefore you cannot be able to duplicate its contents to another disc. So if you need copies of the BD movie you will need to first of all disable the protection on the disc and then try copying.
Regards,
Nicke

I suggest you try using it on a disk that you have used before, and if it fails, there might be issues on the application itself or the drive might be faulty. Inthat scenario you will be required to have a working optical drive, as you would need to address the possibility of having a faulty drive. Once you have verified that the same issue still persists, try to have the latest copy of MakeMKV, as this might resolve your issue.
If you still have the same issue after you've done the following solutions, seek other applications to address your concern.
