Hello,
I was working and setting-up an email account on Outlook 2010 I had a problem while attempting connection to the Exchange Server. I posted the error pop-up below.
What could be the problem?
Microsoft Office Outlook

Hello Hall,
The way to resolve that issue as follows:
-
You will need to remove Exchange from the mail001 box.
-
After that you will need to reboot the Domain Controller, and after that reboot mail box.
-
After that you will not get the issue you are getting.

Nicke

This problem occurs due to the encryption requirement. By default in Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1, RPC encryption requirement is disabled. Your exchange server may be deployed before Microsoft Office outlook service pack 1 that’s why it’s not connecting to the server.  New Client Access Server (CAS) will not require encryption. To resolve this problem disable the encryption requirement on the server or create your outlook profile manually with RPC encryption.
