I am using the formula, =PERCENTILE(array,k) in Excel to assign percentiles as follows to 570 test scores: 50th and above, 10th to less than 50, less than 10th percentiles and insufficient (for empty).
However, I am having difficulties in determining the percentile of each score.
Can you help me with this?

I have problem in creating formula in excel please help.
Hello Kerstine,
Formulas in excel are well used by the function Fx tool which you will find in the ms excel menu. With your excel document open, place the cursor where you want to place the result to the formulae and then click on Fx.
It will open a box with a whole list of functions. Select the category that will give you the percentile function from the list and when it shows up click on it.
You can then input the range of cells that you want to get the percentile on and then click OK to output the result.
