My USB Device is disconnected and reattached. Duplicate name appears on the device manager. What do you think is the solution for this? Does the firmware of the device need to be updated? or is the device corrupt or bad?

I have problem regarding my USB device
There is a problem in your USB device. This frequently happens in every PC. The cause of your duplicate name appearing is because the device that you entered is an unknown USB device.
-
Your PC cannot recognize the device so you may do this. If your device is a pen drive or wireless card reader, then, there might be a problem inside the pen drive.
-
If your device is a wire+ card reader, there may be some problem with the cable. Change the cable, then your device will be ok.
-
If there is still any problem, you can check your USB ports or you can re-setup your Windows. Sometimes because of Windows, PC cannot recognize devices. But I think you have the first problem. Change the cable or device.
I think you got your answer already.

Run a disk check on your hard drive to check it for file structure errors, cross-linked file errors, incorrect or misreported free disk space. Use your disk utility application if you have any or just use Windows disk check.
-
Right click on drive C and then select Properties.
-
Click Tools tab.
-
Click Check Now.
-
Check Automatically fix file system errors and then click Start.
Connect again your USB device to the computer. If duplicate names still appear in the Device Manager but you can use the device with no problem, then just keep it that way. The problem is with the USB device’s firmware or maybe the actual device itself. But if these duplicate names give you headaches, you may need to format your hard disk and install Windows again. Maybe there is a problem with Windows.
