Hi,
I have a problem while downloading the file mib. cab. The file looks damaged when I’m downloading it and I get this error when I try to extract the file. I’m also using the computer in my office which has proxy/antivirus and firewall.
Those are the only things that might cause this problem but I want to be sure.
Thank you.

Some data in your zip file is damaged. The ocr is 5315af258 but should be c0b877fb.

Make sure your network connection is not down for a while and may be it cause an error. Other thing i can say is that may be you are downloading a file that contains errors. The files may contain some of virus infection or they are corrupted while installation.

Hi
I will solve your problem downloading this file. You are saying that in your office, firewall and proxy is enabled. This could be the main reason for your corrupted download. Your admin may have blocked downloading of this type of files. Contact him if you want to get the correct file.

Thanks, experts, for your valuable information. Emil Onoon, after reading your comments, I have realized why this problem is going on. Yes, you are right, the main problem is corrupted download. After your advice, I have been contacted by them, and now I am not facing any errors and I am feeling relaxed. Thanks, friend, for giving me useful information.

That’s a CRC error. When a file has this error, it means the file itself is already broken. If you are downloading a CAB file (.cab), make sure the file is downloaded completely. Try downloading the file again and see if it works.
If this doesn’t work and you are still getting the CRC error upon extraction of the file, the problem is probably with the contents of the CAB file. CRC is the short term for “Cyclic Redundancy Check”. It is a method used to identify errors in digital data.
It is a hash function that detects unintentional changes to raw computer data normally used in digital telecommunications networks and storage devices like hard drives. In a CRC, a constant number of check bits or frequently called a “checksum” is appended to the message that needs to be transmitted. The data receivers receive the data and examine the check bits for any errors.
Data receivers accurately verify the attached check value by finding the remainder of the polynomial division of the contents transmitted. If an error was identified, a negative acknowledgement is transmitted asking for data re-transmission.
