Hi Experts,
I have received an error message regarding Office 2013 (Outlook). Whenever I want to work with Outlook the error message says “Cannot expand the folder. There is not enough free memory to run this program.
Quit one or more programs, and try again” I have no idea about this error message.
Please help me to solve it.
Thanks in advance.

Hello William,
To resolve that issue, you will need to do the following:
-
You will need to open Outlook and then go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings…”
-
Choose your mailbox and then click “Change…”
-
After that take the tick out of “Use Cached Exchange Mode”
-
And then restart Outlook.

Hi William,
One of the reason that could be making you to get the pop up error could be because your outlook messaging account is structured to use cached Exchange Mode during the initial set up which keeps a copy of your mailbox in your computer either when it is online or offline. When your cached folders go beyond 1000 the error message is bound to pop up.
How to resolve the issue
-
Make sure that the numbers of your cached public folders do not exceed the maximum number of 1000 at any one point
-
Decrease the total number of your cached folders until the error message cease to pop up
