0x80091007 error is a task sequence error, and in a remote site, while imaging a laptop, the SCCM task sequence failed with error code 0x80091007. When attempting to deploy a patch after publishing an update via Patch for SCCM, then this error occurs. There is not a particular solution for this error code; if the user comes across SCCM Task Sequence Error Code 0x80091007, try the below solution:

Solution 1:

Remove the package from the distribution point and distribute the package. This is done to ensure that a valid package is available with a distribution point.

Solution 2:

Check if the RAM (memory) is bad or corrupt. Swapping of the RAM has resolved these issues many times.

Solution 3:

Some users got the hash mismatch error resolved by turning off binary differential replication and redistributing the package to DP.

Solution 4: The users can run a WSUS server clean-up to address these issues.
Solution 5: Disable the Third-Party Antivirus programs.
