I keep getting error 651

Error 651 is common in Windows XP and Vista. I encountered this error when I re-installed my computer and reloaded my network driver for my hard drive and my Local Area Network (LAN). I missed to install the driver and this started my problem.

Here’s what I’ve done to resolve my own mess.

1. Corrupted Operating System in c:windowssystem32drivers is missing. The solution is to re-install the driver for your Operating System.
2. Check your Network Card Driver if it’s updated. A simple disabled/re-enabled of that device will help. When connecting to the Internet using PPPOE, make sure that the authentication is correct.
3. A simple reboot of your computer, update of your operating system and connecting to your network is the last resource.
4. If everything fails, a complete System re-install of your Windows Operating System is required.
5. Also, contact your Internet Service Provider for possible network outage, failed to authenticate in their network.
