I lost my deleted items folder on reconfiguring Outlook 2007

I have just reconfigured my Outlook 2007 which I am using. I have however experienced a problem with it after reconfiguring. The deleted items folder is no longer available. There is no problem with deletion of emails from the inbox. The problem is that the lack of the deleted items folder means that I cannot retrieve any deleted item should I need it. What is the cause of the loss of my deleted items folder in my outlook 2007?

Hello Danica,

                        I would like to ask some more information on how did you reconfigure the Outlook. Did you re-create your email address in Outlook or you changed some settings around the existing email address? If you have re-created your email address then everything will be setup from the scratch and you will lose your current data. Like you mentioned, you have no problems with emails in the inbox, all other data in other folders will be erased. One good strategy to prevent that issue is to back up the data in Outlook before setting it up again.
