I am using Microsoft 2000. Sometimes I need to check thesaurus option. But from last week I can’t access the thesaurus option. When I press Shift and F7 then it shows an error message. I clicked yes but after sometime it failed to re-install.
Error:
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Word can't open the thesaurus.
This feature is not currently installed.
Would you like to install it now?
How can I reinstall it ?

Hello Jonson Devid,
Lost thesaurus in Microsoft Word? Using updated version of Microsoft Word has auto spell check. Microsoft Word 2003 has option to manually activate thesaurus. This is a great help in making sure that spelling is 100% accurate and correct.
Here are the steps to activate and let you access the thesaurus features in Microsoft Word.
-
Go to Tools menu, look for Language and Thesaurus. This will let you access this feature.
-
A short cut options in Microsoft Word, you need to press Shift + F7 in your keyboard and Thesaurus window will be shows in the screen.
-
Look for an Thesaurus Icon in the upper part of Microsoft Word.

I lost my Word thesaurus option
I think your keyboard maybe disable. Recently I have experienced with our keyboard that was inactive. Do you know what is the activity of Thesaurus sub-menu? Or,what is the usefulness of Thesaurus in MS Word? I was actively working with Thesaurus menu once upon a time.
I was surprised to see and thought that we are in very need of Thesaurus. I hope you may observe to click on Tools menu. Then in language. You will then find Thesaurus. You can also use the buttons Shift+F7 if your keyboard is OK. You will start working with Thesaurus.
