I’m encountering error code 12002 in my Panda Internet Security 2010

Hello I have Panda Internet Security 2010. Every time I try to update the virus definitions, it gives me error code 12002. I asked help from Panda and they advised to upgrade the version, so I did. I am still getting the same error though. Any suggestion? Thanks.

I’m encountering error code 12002 in my Panda Internet Security 2010

Hello! What type of computer do you have? I mean is this a laptop or a desktop? Error code 12002 means that there was some sort of problem on your internet connection. If you are using a laptop and connecting through Wi-Fi, try connecting to your router directly through ethernet and try updating your virus definition again. If you are still having problems doing this, it is possible that its your firewall that is causing the problem. Try minimizing the settings your firewall and try the update again. If you are still having problems with updating your  virus definition, then try turning your firewall off completely but only temporarily just so you can update your virus definition (make sure you remember to turn your firewall back on whether successful or not). It would also help if you can provide more information like what Operating System your computer has and what type of connection you are using. Hope this helps.
