I’m getting Error in launching ICFB tool

Good day everyone.

We are using Citrix MFU 4.

The problem is when users try to launch ICFB (Cadence) tool, they get an  error message:

Using Cadence version ic5141_isr141

*ERROR* Failed to find either 24-bit Tricolor or 8-bit Pseudo Color Visual.
*WARNING* Failed to find either 24-bit True Color or 8-pbit Pseudo Color Visual.

OS is Solaris 10 9/10 and using CDE.

Please give me suggestions on this.

I’m getting Error in launching ICFB tool

 

This indicates that there is a mismatch in the color scheme of the program and the computer. This can normally occur if your system does not support the type of color that is being used by the program.

1. The only thing in this scenario which you can do is to make sure that you have the required drivers for the system installed.
2. Also see if they are updated and latest. If not then go to the vendor's website and download the official one.
3. Try to update the program as well since it is also the one who is involved in the error.
4. After the update of both things, restart your system and then run the program. Hopefully now the error will be gone.
