I’m unable to launch PowerPoint on MS Surface.

I have the MS Surface Tablet and I'm unable to launch PowerPoint on it. It worked fine few days ago because I remember working on it but it says POWERPOINT.EXE-Bad Image when I try to launch it now. The other applications on the MS Office Suite work fine but something has gone wrong with MSPP. How can I fix this?

I’m unable to launch PowerPoint on MS Surface.

The problem happened because of the Microsoft update for PowerPoint 2013 (KB2920732) on February 10, 2015. The update has crashed the PowerPoint in Windows RT.

To fix, you need to recover your Surface to an earlier version.

1. Go to “Change PC Setting”
2. Select “Update and recovery”
3. Select “Recovery”
4. Click the button below “Refresh your PC without affecting your files”
5. Follow the instruction on the screen.
