I need alfresco calendar reminder to set alarms

Hi,

I am working with a that uses Alfresco Calendar in Office PCs.

I am not quite familiar with it, that’s why I am asking here.

I need to set some reminders and schedule recurring alarms.

I don’t know the way how I can do this.

Is it any tool or plugin available that can fulfill my requirement?

If you are using the same calendar then tell how you manage the events and set the reminder/alarms?

I required alfresco calendar reminder.

Hello Guy Golle,

Currently the Afresco Calendar does not provide the recurring scheduling and reminder functionality with it.

However, developers have found their way through the Afresco API and have modified the code to fit into recurring reminders.

This here is one such calendar reminder plugin made for Afresco calendar.

I think it should suit your need.

An alternative solution is to define a Reminder aspect by yourself. To do this, create a Reminder aspect, customize the web client, define the rules on spaces and the scheduled action, such as sending an email at the set time. Use the "Create Content" wizard will allow you to set the reminder date within range.
