I need an alternative Google chrome free grammar checker

I recently installed Ginger Basic Version 2.8.116 for grammar and spell checking.  It works perfectly fine when I'm using it offline like grammar checking in Microsoft Word but I'm having problems when using the checker online like GoogleDocs.  My desktop with Microsoft XP 64 bit hangs and I have to reboot.  What could be the problem?  Is there an alternative Google Chrome free grammar checker?

Hello

As I found on internet Ginger is by far the best extension for spell checking. But you say it's not good for you so I found another one. It is called Spell Checker extension for Chrome. This extension covers less languages then Ginger but it will do the work. You can install it directly from Chrome Store and use it. I hope this extension will be useful for you. Regards.

Hi Halton, I'm also using Ginger Grammar Checker it is working fine on mine. Try reinstall Ginger and try fixing any wrong grammars. I've searched some alternates of Ginger software, these are Grammarly.com, Grammarbased.com, Grammarcheckeronline.org, Spellcheckus.com. You can use these alternates if Ginger isn't working properly on yours. Good luck hope I helped you best regards
