I need battery economy program for my Dell

I have a Dell XPS 17  that has Intel Core Duo, 4 GB RAM, 1 GB NVIDIA Video Card, 1 TB HDD and Windows OS 7 64 bit. 

The battery seems to drain faster than my other laptop. 

Is there a battery economy program for my Dell?

Hello Albert D White

There is a certain life of battery, because this is a consumable part of the laptop.

Generally battery life is from 2-3 years. After this much time they start to give slow performances and drain faster.

If your battery is new and still drains faster, you can ask for replacement from Dell.

You can use NHC (Notebook Hardware Control) to gain good performance from your Dell battery.

NHC controls the hardware and system power management, prolongs battery life, cools down the system and reduces the power consumption. It also monitors the hardware to avoid system failure. Download it from here.

BatteryCare, Another good software for your laptop. Monitor and Configure your laptop battery, Track the discharge cycles.

It helps you to keep your battery calibrated, thus prolonging its life considerably. Get it from here.

If these tools don't improve your battery condition then you should consult proper technician or replace the existing battery.
