When I reformatted my laptop, I made a separate memory; drive (c:) and drive (d:). In Drive (c:), I saved the OS and applications and in Drive (d:), I saved the documents, downloads, movies, photos, etc,. The drive (c:) used to have 55.1 GB of free space but now its only 53.2 GB, though I didn't save any files to drive (c:).
I just notice it whenever I go online. Is there anyone who knows what application I can use? Because every time I surf on the web, it eats up the memory in my hard disk? Where can I download it? And what's the name of the application? Thank you.
Free application that will fix PC memory loss
Its normal to have a memory loss in your computer, when you're using the internet. It's because of the saved data like history, cookies, password, etc,.
I recommend you to use CCleaner, you can find it in filehippo.com. I personally used it every time after using the internet. Its a freeware so you don't have to pay for anything. To run the application, click the analyse button, then run cleaner.

Hi Bryant,
Â
This is quite obvious while using internet then our C: drive get filled automatically. This is because we been connected to the Wide area network (WAN) and our computer store different temporary files, history, cookies etc in local folder situated at Drive C or where the operating system been installed. The solution for this is to use some freeware software like c-cleaner or drop these cookies and folders manually.

If you are using internet explorer then go to browser > Tools > Options > Under General Tab and then delete all temporary files, history, cookies, saved passwords and web from information. After doing this, click the check box for delete browsing history on exit. Hope it will help out your problem. You can download freeware to clean your drive where operating system installed from this link
