I need help with Desktop Rover Mac

I just purchased the Desktop Rover with wireless video camera.  I installed the software that came with it on my MacBook Pro.  Why can't my MacBook detect the Desktop Rover?  My MacBook is on OSx Mountain Lion.  I need help with Desktop Rover Mac.

Hi,

Try uninstalling it completely then reinstall. Are you installing the software on your CD/DVD ROM? If yes, then try to do these steps:

1. Go to Finder then Preferences
2. Click under Show These Items
3. Show CD dvds and external disks
4. Then go to Show CD/DVD and External Disk
5. Now, insert your software
6. Lastly, click on the CD icon to install.

Autorun in installing a CD in OS X is disabled for security purposes.
