Hi guys,

Can anyone suggest me a good virus guard which will not slow down my laptop,Currently using Kaspersky Internet Security 2011,it slow down my computer

Hello there,

You know, here is the funny thing about antivirus software – they are like cars. Why, you ask? Because everyone have his favorite lol. My favorite is AVG Antivirus free edition, It’s good, doesn’t slow your computer, have regular updates with virus database, checks your email, checks your search result, warns you when you’re going to suspicious websites. When you’re scanning your computer, you can choose between 3 speeds of scanning, so if you are doing something on your computer, you can choose slow scan so it won’t occupy many resources of your computer. Hope this will help in your choice of the new antivirus software.

Hi there , 

Kaspersky 2011 really slows down your PC 

Upgrade to 2012 Kaspersky it has solved all the issues regarding back end Process to the new heuristic scanner that helps bypassing the errors.

 

I personally Recommends Kaspersky Internet Security 2012. It works great . It catches almost all the viruses and also very smooth to operate. What problem kaspersky has till its 2011 versions was slow updates. Now they have solved the problem.

 

Go try download the trial version and try it for 30 days and if and only if you liked then buy the license for 1 year.

 

Do updates regularly and keep it that way. Since updating improves kaspersky a lot . All other antiviruses are a complete waste today.
