I need help recovering deleted files (with shift-del)

How can I recover data files erased with shift-del? Thanks!

Hi,

When a file is deleted from your machine, the data isn't destroyed immediately. Windows simply marks the space in hard drive being available for use by changing one character in the table. As I know, you can download free recovery software as follows to recover deleted files.

Note: Stop using the current disk.

 

1. Panda Recovery  

2. TOKIWA Data Recovery

3. Undelete Plus

 

If you are not familiar with the software, I recommend that you contact Data Recovery Company for support.

I need help recovering deleted files (with shift-del)

Hi,

Thanks for the useful information. I tried possibly all the software and they detected the files but when I tried to open it in Excel it gave me a message that "The Document is Corrupt and to repair it use the open and repair command in the open dialog box (file menu) and select extract data when prompted"

But I do not know where to do it. When I go to open it does not say open and repair. Does it mean that the recovered file can't be opened?

I need help recovering deleted files (with shift-del)

• Open Excel.
• Click on the Office button – the one that opens a menu drop down that shows "New", "Open", "Save" etc. Click "Open". The Open dialog box will now open.
• In the bottom right corner of the dialog box, is a button "Open" with a down arrow (for options) – click on this and the bottom option is "Open and Repair".
• So select your file using the browse window then click that Open button arrow followed by Open and Repair.
• If Excel won't repair your file automatically, then try some 3rd party tools – You can find a good tool to repair corrupt Excel files

Let me know if this does the trick.

I need help recovering deleted files (with shift-del)

One of the best that I already tried on recovering deleted files is the Recuva software.

It can help you recover files that are deleted from crashes, files that are deleted from the Recycle Bin, from the memory cards or MP3 players.

It also allows the user to undelete files on their computers, or even if you have a damaged disks.

It can restore your Word documents, recover your emails.

And most of all, this is a free software.
