I am just in awe when I saw the Lenovo Ideapad U1 Hybrid with 1.3GHz Snapdragon chip, 10.1” capacitive multi-touch display (1280 x 800), Android 2.2 OS "LeOS", Core i5 1.2 GHz. Could someone give me good and bad reviews about this product? I'm planning to buy.
Thanks.
I need Lenovo ideapad u1 hybrid reviews
Hello Mr. Decker,
Lenovo Group Limited, Chinese consumer electronics company base in Morrisville, North Carolina. It was founded in Beijing in 1984.
At CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2011 Lenovo's unique hybrid tablet/laptop was revealed. It works as two completely different products, depending on how you want to use it, makes this device interesting.
The Lenovo LePad and a keyboard/Laptop base combination made the IdeaPad U1 Hybrid. It works like Windows 7 monitor when it's attached to the base, but when separated it works like Anroid tablet. This device powered by 1.3 GHz Snapdragon processor. The simple touch of a button makes it a regular tablet. The tablet connects to the notebook through USB port.
About the touch experience, it has 11.6 screen supports multitouch. It's little bit loose. For entering URL the screen is big enough but not enough for typing an email. Another problem is terrible horizontal and vertical viewing angles.
Hope this would help you.
Thank you.

Hi,
Lenovo's U1 Hybrid laptop/tablet was a great idea till last year. However, in this era, the concept is outmoded, but still is of little interest. The IdeaPad U1 Hybrid features the same design. It uses a CUL processor and Windows in laptop mode. Android is used when the tablet is popped off. However, there are many advantages of it. It has a remarkable capacitive multi touch 10.1 display with a 1280 x 800 resolution. It has WIFi, Bluetooth, 1GB RAM, 16GB or 32GB Flash storage, 2MP Camera in front and much more.
Hope this information helps in deciding whether to buy this product or not.
