I need your opinions in Backup / copy DVD's with DVD Shrink. I plan on using DVD Shrink for backing up my DVD’s. Where can I find the latest freeware version of DVD Shrink? Would it also work with Nero Burning Software?

Hi,
DVDShrink is a very nice software to use in backing up or copying your DVDs. You can get the latest version of the DVDShrink freeware online at a number of sites. This freeware will work well with the Nero Burning Software among other software's as it is not made with a burning engine to do so itself.

The software is kind of old but I think it is worth using and keeping. This is great for DVD movies that don’t usually fit your regular DVD-R disks. It is a flexible freeware application that can be used to fit DVD video disc on regular DVD-R disc. It can re-author and re-encode the movie so that it can be fitted in a blank DVD-R CD. You can also select the compression level used for individual video tracks to get the preferred disc size which normally goes around below 4.38 GB.
It has an intuitive user interface which makes it easy for you to decide what to keep and what to lose. And yes, it will work with Nero CD burning software since it can produce an ISO image of the ripped video disc. Or you can also save it in a VIDEO_TS directory if you want to view it later for further processing and then burning it afterwards. The latest stable version, although it is been released on August of 2004, is DVD Shrink v3.2.0.15 which is available at DVD Shrink v3.2.0.15. You may also visit its official website at Official Site for DVDShrink. You may also watch the video, “Backup / copy DVD's with DVD Shrink | video tutorial by TechyV”.
