I need a paperless for Linux app

Hi there.  I've decided to declutter at home.  I have a lot of paper documents, receipts that I would like to save in PDF.  I'm looking for a paperless for Linux app that will scan the document then save it in PDF format.  Any ideas?

The solution for your problem is gscan2pdf.

It is a lightweight GUI application that has a built-in SANE scanner interface, an OCR engine, and the ability to write PDF documents that embed the OCRed text and use the scanned image as a background for improved legibility.
