With the applications Microsoft Office Word and Mozilla Firefox, installing a third-party spell checker software is unnecessary because both software include their own spell checking system. With Microsoft Office Word, the correct spelling of the words in your document is checked automatically as you create or compose your document. As you type the words and sentences in your document, Microsoft Office Word is checking the spelling automatically including the grammar.
When an incorrect spelling is detected, the application will mark it with a red underline. When an incorrect grammar is detected or the sentence requires revising, the entire line will be marked with green underline. Also, the first letter of every sentence and paragraph is capitalized automatically. Mozilla Firefox, like with any other browser, also has its own spell checker.
This is useful when posting comments on websites. When you compose your message in the comment field or box of a website, any misspelled words will be highlighted with red underline. You have the option to select the correct word among the options or add the word to the dictionary if you verify that the word is correct.
