I have Unchartered Waters Online on my computer and the game was fine. Just last night I was still able to play it for a couple of hours. When I got home today from school, I wanted to play before I do my homework but I receive GameGuard error code 380. Need help so I can resume my quests.

In GameGuard, error code “380” means there is a problem with your internet connection and your security software. Try checking your connection. Open your web browser and visit a website then try clicking some links to verify your connection. If there’s a problem with your connection, try restarting your router if you are connected to a Wi-Fi router.

If the router has a power button, press it to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about ten to twenty seconds (10 – 20). Press any button on the router to drain any leftover power or to power cycle. After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on.

If you have third-party firewall installed, try changing the setting and allow GameGuard or the affected game or add an exception to the game to allow the game or GameGuard to pass through. If you have internet security, try to disable it temporarily. If this doesn’t work, delete the GameGuard folder and download it again. Open Windows Explorer then navigate to the installation folder of “Unchartered Waters Online”.

In there, look for the “GameGuard” folder and delete it. After this, start the game launcher then click “Check Files”. The game launcher will then download GameGuard again.
