I try I am told I have tried a divide by zero

Hello, there is a game am trying out. However, I cannot play it because each time I try I am told I have tried a divide by zero. What is the issue here? I am only allowed to click or close the box with this message. Thank you for helping.

Hi E. J.

First of all, you need to specify which game you are playing for us to help. Division by zero leads to improper an algebraic result, that’s why a lot of computer programs restrict such operations thus the term "Divide by Zero" error.  This leads to an undefined result thus causing the error.  It could be a result of faulty programming.

You said you're trying out a game; there are a couple of reasons why that problem showed up.

1.   One reason is that you downloaded that game from a site and that installer set up might have been corrupted so try redownloading and re-installing the game's installer instead.

2.   There could be a virus in your computer that's causing that entire problem, if you have an anti virus scan it, if not then download your favorite antivirus.

3.   If the game was just a trial version, it must be expired.

4.   If the game is online there must be a technical difficulty, try reloading the game the next day the maintenance team of that game or site should have fixed the problem by then.
