I urgently need Ubuntu applet radio for my computer.

Hi there! My Ubuntu applet radio has totally failed to work. I installed it recently and I was able to use it from the tray icon but lately it disappeared and it does not show anywhere. I am not sure which one specifically it was but it basically aided in playing online radio. Which ones can I use to achieve the same purpose? I would like one that is able to show in the tray at the notification area. Thanks.

Hello,

You can download radio tray for ubuntu here. It runs in the system tray. It plays online radio and is easy to install and use.

I am sure this is the program that you were using before. Download and install it again, it will work well.

Hello.

That may happen after you upgrade to a newer version of Ubuntu.  If you can't find a radio applet for your version of Ubuntu, then you can try to download cairo-dock (you can find it in the Software Center).  This dock is one of many applets that have a really good radio applet.  It supports various formats and radio streams, so check it out.  Regards.
