This is the typical scenario I usually make use of a remote desktop for my computer with Windows 7. And I also have a laptop run by MAC OS. However, I find some trouble every time I end the remote session. The operating system always hangs after the session. Â
I use windows 7 run MAC OS, but finds trouble
Hello Ruby Bautista,
I will suggest that you try locking the computer before shutting it down to end the terminal session so as to effectively disconnect from the remote desktop session. The problem may be occurring because you are disconnecting from the remote desktop session without first locking the screen.
If you are allowing the for version of RDP client that you are using to connect to the Windows 64bit system, then I suggest that you disable the firewall temporarily and then check the check how the connection behaves on disconnecting.
You could also try downloading and installing the latest version of the RDP client, NetMon3.3 and then install it on the computer and use it for the connection and see it solves the problem.
Regards
Clair Charles
