Dear Alan Wuest;

There is also available built in alarm clock, you can also use that one to configure alarm and create events. Anyhow I have a source code for android base alarm clock. It has features of adding some sort of events and much more stuff including, 

• Add alarm
• Calculate alarm
• Delete alarm
• Disable alarm
• Enable alarm
• Set alarm.

Also there is a feature of Notification Manager and snooze alarm.

I hope you will enjoy with the best features of alarm clock. The source code is attached.
