The steps for the installation of active directory 2008 are as follows:

• The first step is to assign an IP address to the server that you are going to deploy an active directory.

• Now, you have to install the Active directory roles.

• Click on the start menu and select the server manager.

• Go to roles option and click on add roles option.
• Now, select “Active Directory Domain Service” and click on “Next.”
• Review and click on Next again.

• Again, click on Next.
• Now, wait for some time and click on Close.
• Now, reboot your computer and open server manager and go to roles, and then Active Directory is installed there.
