The steps to replace the Acer Extensa 4420 motherboards are as follows:

Step 1: Turn the laptop over and remove the screws of the back panel.

Step 2: Remove the cover and eject the hard drive.

Step 3: Remove the optical drive of the laptop.

Step 4: Turn the laptop over and open it.

Step 5: Remove the laptop keyboard and disconnect the cable of the keyboard.

Step 6: Remove the screws and disconnect the cable.

Step 7: Now, remove the touchpad, then remove the laptop fan.

Step 8: Now, it’s time to remove the motherboard and disconnects its cable.

Step 9: Remove the CPU from the motherboard and after that, attach everything back in order.

Now, your motherboard is replaced or repaired. Use your system wisely.
