The user needs to follow some basic steps to upgrade the SSD on my Acer nitro laptop:

Step 1: Rotate your laptop and use a Philips-head screwdriver, then unscrew the fasteners holding the two easy-access panels in place.

Step 2: Remove the panel with the finger.

Step 3: Unscrew the four fasteners holding the 2.5-inch SSD mount in place.

Step 4: Unscrew the 15-fastener holding the plastic back panel of the laptop.

Step 5: Carefully remove the back panel.

Step 6: Unscrew the fastener at the end of the SSD section.

Step 7: Insert the new M.2 SSD into the slot, keeping the flat side aside.

Step 8: Screwback the fastener at the end of the M.2 SSD section.

Step 9: Replace the back panel with some force and screw back the 15-fastener.

Step 10: Put back the panel carefully and put back the screw.
