Hi! Currently I am using Windows XP Professional OS on my computer. Some days ago, I formatted my computer and then I noticed that the icons next to the clock are not appearing. The only thing I could see on the taskbar is the clock. I got one solution and set the priority programs on the startup items accordingly but the problem still exists. Is there any way to fix it? Looking forward for your kind cooperation. Thank you.

Hello Jadrien,
That is just a problem that you will need to solve by adjusting the program notification settings. Use the procedure below:
-
On your computer, right click on the task bar and then click on properties.
-
In the dialog box that opens, click on customize under the task bar tab.
-
In the window that will appear, choose the option for 'show icon and notifications' for only programs that you want to appear in the task bar menu of your computer.
-
Note that they be bearing the 'only shoe notifications' or 'only show icons' right now, so change them accordingly.
That way, the programs icons should appear immediately or the next time you restart the computer.

You need to do following things to make your icons active.
Â
-
Right click on the clock and select properties.
-
Click on RESTORE DEFAULT.
-
Once you have click this your icons will be able to see on the task bar.
-
Another thing to do is to go to taskbar properties and then see the task bar properties.
If you need to make some changes to your icons then you can configure them also from there and you will be able to see your desired icons.
