ICQ chat error in the middle of conversation

I was chatting with my friend using icq and in the middle of the chat the icq crashes and closed and when I tried to open it, it is now giving me this error and it won't run anymore. What am I going to do?

ICQ chat error in the middle of conversation

Hello Jeo,

The possible reasons as to why you are getting that error are the following:

• The ICQ chat registry file may be missing from your computer after having been deleted accidentally.
• The ICQ chat registry file could be damaged by a virus and as a result your computer cannot be able to access to the file.
• The ICQ chat registry file could be corrupt and obsolete.
• The program related to the ICQ chat registry could have been uninstalled improperly.
• The ICQ chat registry could have been overwritten by an older or corrupt version.
• Spyware or malware disguised itself as the ICQ chat registry file and the original file was deleted by malicious spyware.

If you suspect anything leading to the above issues on your computer you will need to fix it.
